Mine Engineering Services

We optimize and design mines, conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, and analyze tailings recovery and leaching pad operations.

Order of magnitude assessment of mining resources

We carry out project evaluations using the information available in coordination with the client. The extensive experience of our engineers allows us to evaluate projects to determine capital investment through sensitivity analysis.

Mine optimization and mine design

Our engineers have extensive experience in mining operations and strategic mine planning. Mining units with different metals in different locations with different topographic and environmental conditions. Applying the most practical and convenient mining method.

Mine scheduling

We have the ability to adapt to our clients’ unique realities, designing mine sequencing that generates the greatest value for their business. By utilizing the most appropriate processes and techniques for each specific context and environment, we excel in defining mining phases, managing stockpiles, optimizing cut-off grades, maximizing value, and optimizing cash flow for mining operations.

Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies

We work with our clients to review the data and generate the appropriate information to move to the pre-feasibility and feasibility stages of the Mining Project. We carry out mine and infrastructure designs, production plans, selection and sizing of equipment, estimation of operating and capital costs. Our evaluations are not only practical and viable but also have the appropriate geotechnical and hydrological studies as well as economic, social and environmental considerations.

Review of mining operations and improvement support

We develop dedicated relationships with each client by understanding their specific needs, considering not only the mining operation but also the environment in which it operates. Our professionals have extensive experience in mining processes such as drilling, blasting, services, loading, hauling, and crushing. This holistic evaluation allows us to quickly and efficiently identify opportunities for improvement.

Mine to mill optimization

Just as we work in mining processes, we have geometallurgical professionals with vast experience in mining. We develop geometallurgical models that maximize mineral recovery, taking into account all factors that contribute to value generation, such as crushing, grinding, metallurgical recovery, filtration, and concentrate production. We analyze the production process as a unified system, rather than separate processes, from the drilling of production holes to the production of concentrates or fines. Mine-to-mill optimization is a dynamic process of trial and error that adjusts each step and evaluates its results.

Ore control standards

Our geologists and engineers take a detailed approach to mineral management and control. Our solutions are tailored to each client. The extensive experience of our professionals in the mining sector, across various operations and commodities, enables us to quickly identify improvement opportunities with significant operational and economic impact. These solutions not only aim to maximize mineral recovery and minimize contamination but also to adapt to the client’s specific circumstances and pinpoint the most significant improvement opportunities.

Economical recovery analysis of tailings dams and leach pads

We have experience in developing economic models for mineral tailings dams and depleted leaching yards. With the ongoing depletion of mineral resources and the scarcity of new high-quality mining projects, many mineral deposits such as tailings dams, low-grade mineral waste dumps, and depleted leach pads hold economic value when assessed with new technologies, reduced costs, and higher ore prices. Our geologists have developed a consistent methodology for prospecting previously depleted mineral deposits and evaluating their economic viability.

Ore sorting studies

We conduct evaluations for the development and implementation of ore sorting processes and techniques. Through these techniques, material classification is enhanced by reducing dilution, eliminating mineral losses, and optimizing the classification of low-grade minerals

Mineral reserve estimation

Once the resource estimation is completed or reviewed by our geologists, we identify the resource that is fully evaluated and commercially viable to extract. This process includes a detailed evaluation of critical assumptions, including mining, processing, metallurgical, capital investment, marketing, legal, environmental, social, and local regulations. A detailed LOM with viable scheduling should support the mineral reserve calculation.
